Link Tags

Instructions for adding a link to an assignment description.

Veracross assignment descriptions allow the use of standard HTML link tags in assignment descriptions. The template below is the standard format of a link tag. Simply replace the placeholder text with the link from the address bar of the page desired and the text to be displayed as a link.

Note that when copying the to a Google document changing the word 'edit' at the end of the link to the word 'view' is desirable to ensure it can be viewed easily. Changing the word 'edit' to the word 'copy' will prompt them to make a copy of the document.
