Beware of pop-ups like to one to the right that can appear in a new browser tab when you click "download" in the window. Do not follow whatever instructions appear. These are phishing ploys. You can simply close the browser tab/window.
Downloading
Use this site [https://youtubemp4.to/] to download the video. While viewing the video on YouTube, copy the URL of the video and past it into the space provided on the download site. As long as the video is public it will be available to download when you enter the URL. Click the button to download the video when instructed to do so. Note: When you click to download the video, a new tab will usually pop up and suggest some action (e.g. updating Adobe Flash). These pop-ups are marketing ploys and are not reliable. Simply close the tab. Your video will already be downloading.
Sharing
Save the video in Google Drive from which you can then share the video with others. Note it will take a while for drive to process the video and make it available.
